Photobooths. Gotta love ‘em.

Take it from me personally – from someone who jumped into those ridiculously over-priced photobooths at the amusement park or fair when they were a kid, cramming all 15 friends into space of about 3 squared feet, to always miss the ‘cue’ of when to smile because you were trying to read the instructions but the photobooth started already, and the 3 minutes you waited for the booth to print  your black and white photo felt like an ETERNITY to see the hilarious outcome of the photobooth experience. That little photo strip was like gold. It was funny, it was memorable, and most of all – it was so unique.

Well, I guess I wasn’t the only one in love with photobooths when I was younger, because in case you haven’t noticed – they are all the rage for a wedding!! =D

I’m sure you’ve seen them. Sometimes they are big, sometimes they are small. Sometimes it’s a do-it-yourself-you-press-the-button, and other times there’s an attendant to help you time the pose and flash! flash! flash! flash! flash! the 5 photos you take are like an instant deja vu to your childhood photobooth days.

They are fun, there’s no argument about that. But – this post isn’t really to sell the photobooth idea to you all. Actually, I recently ran across the photobooth website of one of my first roommates in college who got married. And, I’m not sure what’s funnier – the photos? or the comments of the photobooth photographers. Either way – get ready for a laugh. I applaud the guests for such creativity, and of course Emily & Johnson: Congratulations! I’m so happy for you two… and you both look like you’re having so much fun! May the laughter, love, and joy continue throughout many years of marriage! =D
